Where we work in Richardson
Neighborhoods we serve
A lot of Richardson's homes were built in the 1950s through the 1970s, and those original masonry chimneys have had decades of North Texas heat and winter fires working on the mortar, crown and damper. Newer homes on the north and east side of town still need a yearly sweep to stay safe, even when the chimney is only a few years old. Either way, we check the same things on every visit: creosote buildup, blockages, and any damage that could turn into a bigger repair down the road.

Do you work on the older homes in Richardson Heights and Canyon Creek?
Yes. Masonry chimneys from the 1950s through the 1970s are some of the most common ones we see, and on homes that age we look closely at the mortar joints, the crown and the damper, since that's where years of use tend to show first.
How often should I have my chimney swept?
Once a year is the right rhythm for most Richardson homes, and before the first cold snap is the best time. If you burn a lot of wood through the winter, or you notice a strong smell or black flakes in the firebox, call us sooner.
Do you also inspect gas fireplaces?
Yes. Gas fireplaces don't build up creosote the way wood does, but the venting, logs and burner still need a look so the flame burns clean and fumes go where they should.
How quickly can you get out to Richardson?
